Being in a current leadership role lets him enhance his role of working with a majority dual-diagnosis undeserved population, who face many barriers such as homelessness, addiction, and poverty.

Mr. Ata studied at the World Islamic and Science Education University (also called the Islamic University) where he achieved a BA in Islamic jurisprudence

Mr. Ata was born and raised in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. Mr. Ata pursued his education at Northern Illinois University where he attained a BA in psychology. Mr. Ata studied at the World Islamic and Science Education University (also called the Islamic University) where he achieved a BA in Islamic jurisprudence and its foundations as well as an MA in Islamic jurisprudence with a specialty in Islamic commerce and finance. While working on his degrees, Mr. Ata studied with scholars and achieved various certifications (ijazat) in Islamic jurisprudence, the foundations of jurisprudence, the science of hadith, the Arabic language, Quranic recitation, and Islamic creed/theology.

Dr. Joshua Mason is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist located in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Mason was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and went on to receive his Bachelor's in Psychology from Xavier University, a historically black college in New Orleans, LA. Upon returning from New Orleans, Dr. Mason attended the California School of Professional Psychology, where he earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in child and family work. Dr. Mason currently provides clinical supervision to psychology trainees, interns, and therapists, while also maintaining a private practice in Los Angeles. Dr. Mason continues to provide consultations with community mental health agencies regarding behaviors, approaches, and interventions. He also psycho educates the community through trainings on topics such as Functional Behavioral Analysis, issues surrounding secondary trauma, cultural competency in therapy and trauma related diagnoses/therapeutic approaches.
